Just some wild flowers at my parent’s place, because that’s where I spent most of my time in July and August. My sister and my three-year-old niece (“three and a half!”) came for a visit from Australia to meet their German family. So we ate four ice cream shops worth of ice cream, went to every playground within a radius of 50 km, built castles out of pillows and blankets and watched a thousand episodes of Bluey. Now I’m back home and they left for the other side of the planet. Life is great, life is sad, life is wild.

Took a little stroll through Berlin’s summer heat and met BuzzFeed Japan (not pictured) for a few iced drinks afterwards
